About Dave Grosvenor

I am a career procurement specialist with a demonstrated track record of successfully leading business transformation projects in shared services environments and in capital intensive industries.

 

In my last role I was the interim head of the ICT Commercial team at Transgrid managing a team of three FTE and a portfolio of contracts valued at $100m. Prior to that, I managed two high profile procurements for the Australian Securities Exchange valued in excess of $150m and was the interim Director of ICT Sourcing at the NSW Department of Education between January and May 2023, responsible for managing a team of seven FTE and an annual spend of $2b.

 

As Director, Commercial Management at Transport for NSW, I was accountable for standing up a new team of 35 FTE within IT for Transport. At Insurance and Care NSW in 2020 I led a program to transform the procurement function, implement a new policy framework including category management and build the capability of the ICT procurement team by conducting one-on-one coaching and training workshops.

 

Between 2012 and 2019 at Transport for NSW, I was the senior executive manager accountable for the category management and sourcing of all ICT-related goods and services for the Transport cluster. Between 2013 and 2018 my team developed category plans in consultation with business stakeholders and established over 300 contracts valued in excess of $5b that yielded savings of more than $350m.
